At the top of the Song page you can see some contextual information — when it was released, links to the artist and products pages, and metadata. The star icon allows you to mark it as a favorite and receive mobile push notifications around stream spikes and playlist adds for the song. Additionally, you can share and export the data for easy collaboration.
Overview Tab
The main focus of the song page is the “Performance over Time” graph which shows you how streams and other metrics trend over time, such as detailed source of streams, country breakdowns, and demographic analysis.
Performance Over Time
The filters at the top let you narrow by market and time period by selecting a country, region, or multiple countries and choosing a predefined date interval or a custom date range to focus on exactly what you need.
The store filter focuses on specific stores and detailed sources if available.
Easily customize your views to drill in By Source, By Country, By Store, or By Product.
By Sources: breakdown of active (lean forward) and passive (lean back) source metrics, demographic data
By Countries: highlights top 25 markets driving streams, with a table to drill in by each store
By Stores: comparison across 15 stores
By Products: outlines main products associated with the song, such as albums, singles, or compilations
Lastly, you can see what’s happening on a specific day just by hovering over an area of the graph.
Use case: The default view aggregates performance across all stores and markets, providing a high-level overview. To see which store is performing best, switch to the By Store view to identify top-performing platforms. You can then filter to a specific store and select By Country to see which markets are driving the most activity. To understand the fan behavior behind streams in a particular market, filter by that market and choose By Source of Stream to see which sources are driving the greatest impact on the track, such as active and passive source metrics, as well as age and gender data.

We know how important benchmarking is, and built Compare so you can easily see how track growth compares to other tracks.
Look at up to four tracks at once to compare active/passive streams, performance at time of release, demographic data, and Spotify chart placements.
TikTok vs Streams
Below performance over time on the overview page, you’re able to see the impact of TikTok and how creation and views are impacting streams.
Playlists Tab
The Playlists tab displays the full universe of current and past playlists, along with key data to help teams craft stories and pitches to secure more playlist support. You can filter by playlist type, store, and market, and customize the table by the metrics that matter most to uncover opportunities.
As you explore playlists, easily identify editorial support, drill into position details using the upward arrow in the position column, and see how many streams each playlist is driving to a track.
Charts Tab
The Charts tab covers all current and past charts, along with key views to help uncover trends for current position, peak position, entry date, days on the chart and more.
Each chart appearance can be expanded to track the song’s progress on that chart over time, starting from its first appearance.
TikTok tab
The TikTok tab shows TikTok performance over time for creations, views, likes, comments, favorites and shares. Each metric can be viewed by UGC/PGC or by Country, helping you to understand how fans are engaging with your songs on this specific platform, and where.
The grid view helps see what’s happening across multiple parameters easily.
